Techniques for releasing from all grabs involve 3 elements, Force, Mass and Speed. Force is acheived by rotating the wrist and using muscles to act against the opposing grip. Mass is simply using your body weight to generate extra power to the technique. Speed is important to generate the power to release, as well as the element of surprise against the opponent.
